The following is an introduction to the self-help memoir I'm working on. I would love to hear any positive or negative feedback!
Miracles uniquely captures the human experience, sharing the captivating unfolding of love, wisdom, and purpose within the infinite interconnection of life. On June 6, 2022, while meditating in the grass near the serene sound of flowing water in the small pond, magic materialized into the physical plane. This wasn’t the first or the last miracle; however, each one brought with it the intensity of death and the magnificence of life. For certain, life and death together birth miracles.

You may believe that the extraordinary avoids embracing the ordinary, but you are mistaken. It is the very acceptance of all aspects of the ordinary, including death, that permits one to engage in the extraordinary. Without the fear of death, which is rather ordinary indeed, one is surrounded by the freedom to leap when others won’t, believe in the impossible, and experience the improbable miracles available in the limitless expanse of possibility, which we call life.
How could you leap into the darkness of the unknown without a guarantee? Nothing is assured in life, except for death. Will you let something as ordinary as death hold you back from living life to the fullest? Could you have the faith to believe in what you cannot first experience with your bodily senses? You must know that your level of faith is the gauge with which miracles will present to you. As you believe and feel without attachment, so it is.
This is not just a story; it is the never-ending journey of the hero or heroine freely available to those who deeply desire to wholly embody the miracles of life while embracing the knowing that death, the partner of life, intervenes when necessary for the seeker’s highest and best. For death brings life, and life leads to death. I am because you are; therefore, we are.
We live, die, and live again. Aspects of ourselves and our lives can die daily, especially as we trust and allow the flow of the river of life to teach us its wisdom. Grief eagerly exposes each loss. Just as we trust the sun to rise, set, and shine again, life is born from each death. Once you feel love for death, you are free!
The Hermetic Principle of “as above, so below” provides us with a helpful perspective: when we understand the daily life and death cycle, the infinite cycle of our soul becomes clear. From this vantage point, you will always be. Why fear death?
Your imagination and ego catastrophize death, which inextricably leads you to fear life! It is that simple. Why else would only the few choose the road less traveled? A life without fear inevitably leads to death; however, surviving life in fear also leads to death. Your greatest superpower is your sovereignty of choosing which path you will take. Which will it be?
On that summer day in 2022, Blake surrendered to the heroic path to ego death, also known as spiritual awakening. Remember, all paths lead to death, but the miracles along the way create a story worth reading.
